Author and LGBTQ Activist

Jeffrey Marsh is a gender-fluid LGBTQ activist and is an LGBTQ Affairs Consultant for the New York City Council. Their social media work has amassed over 350 million views on social media, sparking dialogue about issues at the intersection of gender, identity, and digital activism.


 
Fiorenza Quercioli
Language Resource Coordinator, Stanford University-Florence Program

Fiorenza Quercioli holds a degree in Modern Languages from the University of Florence, an M.A. from the University of Venice, and a Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of Florence. She has extensive experience teaching Italian as a second/foreign language and as a teacher trainer, and has worked for several Italian institutions, both public and private. She also tutors graduate students enrolled in the teaching Italian to foreign students M.A. Program at the University of Venice. She is an active member of several professional associations including AATI (American Association of Teachers of Italian) and ILSA (Insegnanti di Italiano Lingua Seconda Associati).

Quercioli has published several articles relating to the teaching and acquisition of Italian as a second/foreign language, as well as didactic material. She has co-authored an Italian language manual for intermediate students entitled L’Italiano all’Università (Edilingua, Roma, 2013).

 


 
Enrie Scielzo
Italian model, blogger and activist

Enrie Scielzo is an Italian transgender model and blogger. Born in Salerno in 1987, she graduated with honors in Foreign Languages and Cultures at the University of Salerno, before beginning her career as a model. In 2012, she ranked in first place in the Fresh Face Italy in modelmanagement.com , and appeared on larger platforms such as The Fashionisto and Vanity Teen as the new international face. She has lived in Barcelona , Milan and London , working as a fashion editor and contributor for some fashion magazines in parallel to her modeling career. In 2014 she opened " The Ladyboy ", the first Italian blog dedicated to transgender fashion.
